British youngster arrested in Mijas for attempting to rob a kiosk

 

Two youngsters, a German, S.T. born in 1998 and a Briton, B.T.W. born in 1997, are before the prosecutor after trying to break the lock on a sweet kiosk in the Doña Ermita park in Mijas. Both the minors are residents of Mijas and were spotted at 9,30pm last Sunday when local police received the call saying that a group of five youngsters, some carrying skateboards, were trying to get into the kiosk. A police patrol went to the scene and found the group, but none of them was carrying identification. The police confirmed the padlock had been attacked, but it still remained intact. The police considered that the three Spaniards out of the five had nothing to do with the attempt to rob the kiosk. The German and Briton were taken to the police station and their parents contacted, and they now are before the Children’s Prosecutor of the Guardia Civil.
